This position requires a high level of cooperation with sales and management to achieve customer satisfaction, timely delivery of materials, cost effective procurement and inventory management, and profitability.
Essential Functions and Basic Duties Responsible for managing inventory.
This includes, reconciling cycle counts, establishing part numbers, minimum order quantities, reorder points, stock transfers and RGA's Manage inventory levels, analyze inventory usage and turns to minimize investment in inventory and achieve operational efficiencies Establish and maintain appropriate inventory levels Issue and expedite purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and update anticipated delivery dates Responsible for updating price changes Approves vendor invoices for payment when necessary Monitor and assist with inventory write downs and write offs for excess and obsolete material Responsible for establishing and maintaining professional business relationships with vendors and co- workers Works closely with Warehouse and Accounting to resolve inventory discrepancies and cycle counts Communicate with co-workers and management Complete other duties as assigned Skills/Abilities:
Procurement experience including working knowledge of purchasing procedures, products, services and strategic supplier management Ability to achieve on time delivery of materials Achieve monthly inventory targets and inventory turnover Accuracy and thoroughness in work Excellent communication, telephone and written Ability to work well independently and as a team Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
