We are looking for a full-time Social Worker to be a part of our incredible team and who have the same vision.
The Social Worker will be responsible for working with families in identification of needs and concerns, make social referrals to community resources and work closely with the Director of Nursing, Dietary Manager, Administrator and Activity Director.
The primary purpose of this job position is to assist in planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the overall operation of our facility's Social Services Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that the medically related emotional and social needs of the resident are met/maintained on an individual basis.
Specific Requirements/
Qualifications:
Must possess, as a minimum, a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work.
Licensed by and in good standing with the Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners.
Work Schedule:
As assigned; including some weekends, evenings and holidays.
Exempt position.
