Karat by Lollicup(TM) is currently seeking Paper/ Plastic Machine Operator to join our team in Rockwall, TX.
We are looking for someone who is energized and inspired by the possibility of being part of this exciting opportunity! Job Duties:
Safely load and unload materials onto/from the packing machinery.
Inspect materials for quality and adherence to specifications before initiating the packing process.
Operate packing sealer equipment according to established guidelines and procedures.
Perform routine checks on products before sealing to ensure they meet quality standards.
Adjust machine settings as necessary to achieve desired packaging results.
Clean and prepare containers or boxes for packing, ensuring they are free from debris and contaminants.
Assemble and arrange packaging materials in an orderly manner for efficient packing.
Pack finished goods into containers or boxes following specific instructions and guidelines.
Perform random checks on finished products to verify quality and compliance with standards.
Identify and remove defective or non-conforming products, segregating them as instructed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
Follow all company policies and procedures related to safety, quality, and operational guidelines.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as a machine operator or in a production environment is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions meticulously.
Basic understanding of machinery operation and production processes.
Physical stamina and ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Adherence to safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
