We are seeking a dedicated Cafeteria Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Elementary School cafeteria.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen management, including school food service, food production, and leadership skills within the food industry.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise cafeteria staff, training, and work schedules.
- Ensure compliance with Child Nutrition Program regulations, food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness - Oversee food production, and meal service to our students - Collaborate with the Child Nutrition Department to meet nutritional guidelines and dietary restrictions - Maintain kitchen equipment and supplies, ensuring proper functionality - Provide exceptional customer service to cafeteria patrons - Monitor and control food costs while maximizing quality Skills:
- Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage a team - Experience in kitchen management, school food service, and food production - Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations - Excellent organizational skills to coordinate kitchen operations efficiently - Previous experience in either school food service management and/or school cafeteria operations is required.
