We're seeking a friendly and energetic Shift Leader to lead our shifts and serve our valued customers.
In this role, you'll be the face of Pokey O's, crafting our signature cookie sandwiches, supervising staff, operating the register, and ensuring every customer leaves happier than when they arrived.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and motivate team members to ensure efficient operations and exceptional customer service - Greet and serve customers with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Prepare ice cream and cookie sandwiches according to customer orders with attention to quality and presentation.
- Operate the cash register, perform deposits, and handle transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area and equipment.
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Provide information about menu items and assist customers with allergies or dietary restrictions.
- Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service and promote a positive working environment.
- Open and close the store when needed.
Qualifications:
- 1 Year of Shift Leader/Management experience - Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team - Previous experience in food service or customer service is required.
- A person of integrity and has the ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Flexibility with schedule, including evenings and weekends.
