Your Role:
The company is approaching 50 employees and wants to bring in an experienced HR Generalist to help prepare for the changes that this will cause.
The company has already developed their handbook and their policies and procedures, but needs someone who excels at employee relations and can answer technical questions about FMLA, benefits and other HR issues.
This person will travel to other office one time per month.
Will help to expand their current annual review process
Manage benefits administration and assist with enrollment process;
Develop and implement orientation and training programs;
Host new-hire employee orientations at the different office locations (approximately 1 time per month)
Create and manage employee performance evaluation procedures, performance improvement
plans and career development programs;
Support managers with employee performance evaluations and creation of development
plans for employees;
Advise management on broad organizational design and talent management issues;
Communicate organizational and structural changes to employees;
Utilize software programs to maintain and update periodic reports regarding headcount,
vacation days, sick days, FLMA, etc.;
Educate employees to ensure consistent application of policies, procedures and practices;
and
Recruit talented individuals for domestic and international positions, including internships;
Assist with management of candidates during the recruiting process;
Conduct phone screens, drug tests, interviews and background checks as part of the recruiting and new-hire process;
Travel to and attend recruiting events, interviews and trade shows;
Perform other duties as assigned.
Background Profile:
Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required
SHRM certifications are strongly desired (PHR, SPHR, etc)
Current membership in SHRM would be a plus
3+ years of experience
Must be positive and enthusiastic
Independent worker who does not need a lot of direction
Must have strong researching skills
Strong presentation skills

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
